After the 1967 setback, Abu Ramzi is displaced from the Golan with his family, and he is tired in order to secure a livelihood and his wife who works in sewing helps him. As for the son Ramzi, he dreams of riches quickly and in the easiest way, which drives him to collide with his father, who dreams of a roof that shelter him through halal earnings.
Short movie (Al Urjouha) His story revolves around a soldier returning from the front to visit the family of his friend who died in the war. He decides to live with her and compensate for the loss of their son. He builds a solid relationship with the daughter of the martyr, who never stops playing on the "Swing" that her father made for her.
Rejecting all propagandistic or narrative convention, Ghazi combined documentary and abstract sequences with a series of discontinuous plot lines to organize a stinging attack on the bourgeois decadence of Beirut's political milieu.
The story of the film within the Abu Asaad family revolves around the inheritance of three brothers in the city of Hama in central Syria, but severe disagreements arise between them over how to divide this inheritance.
