Padre
Hélio is a police chief who tries to free his city from the hands of Paulo, owner of a rundown nightclub that conceals criminal activities behind the stage where young girl Mariana performs every night. Mariana is a dancer who dreams of leaving the town and her stained past, alongside her brother, a henchman who is missing and being pursued by the police chief. This ties Hélio to the young girl's destiny, who remains trapped in a life of cyclical actions and frustrations, forcing her to immerse in representations as if they constituted her reality. On his journey, Hélio gets closer to Mariana, tries to help her, but this results in a brutal clash of interests, which leads both of them, and the city as a whole, to a tragic end.
