История о молодой учительнице Надежде Панаевой, только вышедшей из стен пединститута и начинающей свою взрослую жизнь. Она мечтает о счастье, любимом муже, собственном уютном доме. Но ее мечтам, если и суждено сбыться, то не сразу. Предательство любимого, сгоревший дом, отчаяние и нежелание жить — Наде придется пройти трудный путь к своему счастью и понять, что настоящая любовь — не фантастика.
