Ramadhan dan Ramona

The story of two young people from wealthy families who are looking for their own individual identities. Ramona (Lydia Kandou), who hates the patriarchal attitude men have toward women, immerses herself in the lives of the less fortunate people around her. Ramadhan (Djamal Mirdad), who is descended from Malaysian nobility, is in Jakarta gaining work experience as a low level company employee. The two young people meet in Jakarta and begin to like each other. The blossoming romance between these two young people who are each keeping their backgrounds secret from the other conveyed in a light and humorous tone. Eventually, however, they find out about each others' backgrounds. Ramona backs off, while Ramadhan continues to pursue her.
Nada dan Dakwah

The people of Pandanwangi village are upset at news that their land will be appropriated by a large conglomerate. Conflict over the land emerges and escalates between the villagers and representatives of the conglomerate. The villagers have come to view the situation as more of a matter of morality than of land ownership after finding out that a bar and billiards center will be built there. The head of the village’s Islamic boarding school, H. Murad, who is assisted by H. Rhoma, attempts to influence the villagers to refuse to sell their land. Eventually, the charismatic religious leader KH Zainuddin MZ succeeds in mediating the conflict, and even influences the conglomerate owner, Bustomi (WD. Mochtar), to rethink his plans. The land conflict theme of this film is interesting in that it reflects the social issues arising out of the rapid pace of development of the time. This may be Rhoma Irama’s best film, even though it was not very popular.

Fifi (Paramitha Rusady) runs away from home as she does not want to marry the man chosen for her by her parents. She then meets Kadir (Kadir), an honest but unlucky young man, who has come to Jakarta with his younger brother, Doyok (Doyok Sudarmadji), to try their fortune. Failing, Doyok returns alone to his village. Kadir also goes home to the village, but with Fifi. But as a city person from a rich family, she is not used to the village life. Kadir keeps working for her, such as selling frogs, which is a mistake as the frogs he sells are not edible. The inedible frog becomes a big joke. Finally, Kadir and Fifi return to the city just when Fifi is going to be engaged to Tomo (Rudy Salam), her parents’ intended. But Fifi is already in love with Kadir. Kadir leaves because he does not want to be insulted, but Fifi goes after him and runs away from home.
Namaku Joe

Joe Kifly, a university student who owns a “box” car, is dating Fia. Joe changes when he meets Pinky, a modern and rich girl. Joe bets that he can win Pinky’s heart, but she only wants to be friends with him. Joe tries to go back to Fia, who is now being courted by Tony, her ex-boyfriend. When Fia is about to be raped by Tony, Joe comes to defend her, leading to a fight. They have many battles until Tony dies. Joe then gets back together with Fia. The film seems to depict life as full of pointless pretention.

Since Mada has a good looking and a polite manner, no one realises that he is a member of a criminal gang. He also has a girlfriend, Puji, whom he wants to build a good family with, and to live without money from robbery. Puji advises him to quit from crime and to build a future with his savings. But Mada continues his crimes and even robs a gold store. He marries Puji, and runs away with the loot. Then he establishes a small business by selling cigarettes and gado-gado (an Indonesian salad). The other gang members look for him and force him to rejoin the outfit. Mada refuses so Puji is kidnapped. Mada and Puji manage to fight them but in the end, they are arrested by the police.

The quasi-skilled Kasino tries to install an abstract painting on the wall of Mr. Us Us’ house where he stays. The plaster wall is damaged. Afraid of Mr. Us Us’ wrath, Kasino, Dono, Indro, Marina, and Anita try to lie to Mr. Us Us but he finds out. They are scolded and ordered to repair the wall at once. The comedy continues with the arrival of Dono’s grandfather from the village. Dono has lied to his grandfather that he has become a doctor, but the latter knows his bad habits. Then Anita wants to test her boyfriend’s love, and asks Dono to pretend to be her boyfriend during a party. Unfortunately, Dono’s silly acts annoy Anita. When Indro’s food recipe is entered for a competition, which allows only women, Dono is forced to dress like a woman. Dono wins the competition but the prize is anulled once Dono’s identity is discovered. Dono protests by asking to take home the competition food. The committee refuses and a cake-throwing war ensues.

Three friends, Dono, Kasino, and Indro, open a restaurant because of Dono’s cooking expertise. There are situational jokes in the restaurant: the scary food critic who instead gives a good review; Indro and Susan, the cashier, who play around with the security guard’s handcuffs until they have to go around together, which annoys Indro’s girlfriend. There’s also gym humour when Henny, a stewardess friend of Dono, teaches him. And of course, there are jokes among the three friends.

Kasino forbids Dono and Indro, his room mates and also his subordinates at the garage where they work, to fall for women. But secretly, Kasino admires a girl, whose picture he sees for the first time in a magazine. When Dono takes a night shift, he has to repair Marina's broken car. The event upsets Kasino since the bill remains unpaid. Unexpectedly, Marina moves into the dormitory where Dono and friends live. Kasino is shocked, for Marina is the woman he admires all this time. Kasino always chats with Marina, but the lucky guy is Dono. Marina, who is visited by her grandparents for marriage with another man, admits to them that she is already married to Dono. Some comedy elements are included such as Indro, who pretends to have a twin, and Dono, who participates in a women’s football match.

Dono, who's good at cooking, applies to many restaurants for work but is always rejected. Meanwhile, Indro and Kasino are only concerned with chasing girls in funny ways, and they always fail. Then Anita, upon the arrival of her father, suddenly disappears without leaving a note to her friends. Kasino looks for her, but he is instead arrested by a woman officer he previously seduced. The police arrest Indro after he breaks a public telephone. The film’s comedy stems from misunderstanding and odd situations. The other formula is sex via Eva Arnaz and Lydia Kandou who always wear mini short pants and tight t-shirts.

This time, the comedy trio of Warkop DKI is joined by another comedian, Mat Solar. Each have their own quirkiness: Kasino the grumpy, Dono the senile, Indro the stutterer, and Mat Solar, deaf in one ear. They work in a hotel run by Paulus. Their quirkiness is the source of humour and misunderstandings, an old tried-and-tested recipe that is still used to attract movie-goers. The highlight is the hotel’s new year event. They appear as performers and call themselves, Wow, It’s Huge. They sing covers of The Beatles, Rolling Stones, and some folk songs. In the end, the show is still a mess.

There is a robbery in a village far from the city, and the robbers not only steal, they also kill. Yanti is raped and is taken to Jakarta. Both her parents and her younger sibling are murdered by the robbers. Rachman, who really loves Yanti, finds her in a night club. Although she has become a prostitute, Rachman still loves her. They escape the brothel and marry in the village. Yanti receives martial arts lesson from Rachman’s grandfather and decides to take revenge on the robbers and the pimp who trapped her in prostitution. With numerous tactics and great fights, Yanti and Rachman manage to defeat the criminals and the pimp.

Together, they plan to seize Wamena’s wealth. Alas, Narita already has a boyfriend, Arman, a poor young man. Yuni tries to manipulate the relationship by sending a fake wedding invitation. This causes Wamena a heart attack, which kills him. Narita is also against her father’s relationship with Yuni, so she storms out and leaves. Then Arman marries Narita and becomes the director of the company. Yuni and Toni resign from the company. Then Yuni tries to trick Arman by sending a pretty woman to seduce him and then takes a photo of them together. With this photo, she manages to trap Arman.

Wisnu and Popo Hartopo are two motocross riders who are famous and respected. One day, Wisnu meets a sweet girl, Yanti and they fall in love. Margens, also loves Yanti, and he tries to ruin Wisnu’s career to win Yanti. During a practice, Margens and his friends start to make trouble and beat up the leader of Wisnu’s group, Hendrik. Margens then tries to rape Yanti and even causes harm to Wisnu during a race. Yanti stays faithful and waits for Wisnu’s recovery from his injuries. In the end, Margens and his friends have to pay for their evil deeds.

The film is a "reconstruction" of the real event of Sum Kuning’s rape that happened 10 years before, and sums up the lack of justice in the Indonesian courts. Sumirah, is raped by four vandals but during the investigation, the event is given a ridiculous interpretation when Sum is forced to confess that she was trying to gain popularity for herself. During the trial, the true facts are revealed gradually and this ranks as one of the best courtroom films ever made complete with spirited and lively dialogue.

Three bachelors establish a service center for women, initially intended for sex, but instead it becomes a multi-purpose service agency. There is a grandmother who asks them to read comic books to her; there is also a woman who wants them to wash her carpets. But one of them always gets the most enjoyable part, which is the sex service for lonely women, or even to torture them by request. He also gets a girlfriend, who lives in Singapore, and accepts his profession.

Lestari stops teaching when she marries Rama who has returned from abroad. Lestari, who is an only child and an orphan, is infertile. One day she meets Shinta, her favorite student who cannot stand living with her stepmother, especially since her father, a drunken truck driver, died in an accident. Lestari invites Shanti to live with her. Then Rama’s parents bring Lestari to Tokyo for treatment as they still wish to have a grandchild. Rama and Shinta are left at home and begin to be intimate. Lestari is furious when she returns but she finally gives them her blessings as she cannot conceive. But due to a misunderstanding, Shinta runs away. Then Rama finds Shinta as a singer in a nightclub. Without Lestari’s knowledge, they consummate their love. Then Rama accuses Shinta of adultery and refuses to acknowledge the baby as theirs.
