Lakshmi is an action-suspense thriller, in which Shivaraj Kumar playing the title role while Priyamani in the female lead role. Lakshmi Narayana alias Lakshmi is a ruthless CBI officer. The film begins with the hero kidnapping a internationally-renowned dancer Akriti. While cops lead by Ravi Kaale capture Lakshmi, they are not aware of his true identity and assume that the kidnapper is being protected by powerful people. Little less they know that he has abducted a terrorist to find clues about his missing wife Priya aka Reshma (Priyamani) and it is believed that she cheated him and left with an underworld don. As he finds the culprits one after another, he gets an anonymous call that make him to come to Hong Kong. His mission is clear - find his wife and kill her along with the kingpin. How he finds his wife? What role does his wife play in the film? Answers to these questions will form the crux of the story.

Harischandra Prasad (Nandamuri Balakrishna) is an influential leader in Rayalaseema and he treats all his people as his children. To provide jobs to them, he decides to build a huge steel plant with the assistance of foreign collaborators. But Ramappa (Pradeep Rawat) and his assistant (Kota Srinivasa Rao) oppose this. They hatch a plan to eliminate him. His son Ramakrishna (Nandamuri Balakrishna) thwart the villain’s plans. But the story takes a cruel twist as the villains strike at the heart of the family by using Bobby (Nandamuri Balakrishna).

A remake tale, the story begins with Venkatadri (Venkatesh) who has great respect for Varadarajulu Naidu (Prakash Raj) as he saves his life. After few hesitations, Venkatadri starts falling in love with the caller not knowing it is Keerthi.

Murugan is a stunt actor in movies and his only aim in life is to become a good villain and get featured prominently in movie posters and cutouts. At a temple festival, he rescues Dakshinamoorthy from goons trying to kidnap him on orders from his son, who wants to take over land on which an orphanage is located. Chukkallo Chandrudu (Telugu: చుక్కల్లో చంద్రుడు) is a Telugu film released on 14 January 2006 and was directed by Mani Ratnam's associate, Siva Kumar. The film has Siddharth Narayan, Sadha, Saloni Aswani, Charmme Kaur, and Akkineni Nageswara Rao playing important roles but this film story lines nearly equals to Jagapathi Babu film Allari Premikudu.

Major Ram is one of the few soldiers from the Indian Army who have been held captive in Pakistan, following the war with India. The Indian army and politicians are unable to make any decision so as not to jeopardize the lives of the captives. Major Ram's brother, Arjun, alias Sunny decides to take it upon himself to enter Pakistan and get his brother free. He now calls himself Salman. On the way he meets with beautiful Ruksar and both fall in love with each other. Unfortunately for them, they cannot be married, so they elope, leading to an unrest within their community, and a hunt is on for them. Salman and Ruksar chance upon the prison camp that is housing Ram, and do get him free, only to find themselves trapped by Pakistani Jihaadis and soldiers.
