Родился 26 июня 1950 года в наслеге Доллу Мегино-Кангаласского улуса (ЯАССР). Заслуженный артист Республики Саха (Якутия).Окончил Высшее театральное училище имени М.С. Щепкина при Малом театре Союза ССР (1974), Университет марксизма-ленинизма в г. Якутке (1991), Дальневосточную Академию государственной службы (2002), обучался на курсах руководящих кадров и специалистов кинофикации и киновидеопроката в г. Санкт-Петербурге (2001).В 1974 году артист Нюрбинского передвижного театра. С 1976 по 1994 годы – артист Саха Академического театра имени П.А. Ойунского. Всего на сцене сыграно более 60 ролей. С 1994 по 1998 годы – директор Государственного цирка Республики Саха (Якутия). С 1998 по 2015 годы - генеральный директор ГУ ГНК «Сахафильм». Член Союза театральных деятелей России (1978).Член Союза журналистов РФ, Союза писателей РС (Я).
