A coming of age story that explores a sexual awakening through a young girl's innocent first encounter with homosexuality. Set during a hot summer in the 1950s in Australia, Lucy is witness to an intimate embrace between a stranger and her first love. What appear to be figments of George's imagination, develop into haunting hallucinations by seductive females of the ginger persuasion. One after the other, they come at him from every angle.
