Three brothers leave their home to see the world. During their journey, young men as by miracle enter into famous fairy tales (Little Riding Hood, Sleeping Beauty, Twelve Months) and face traps, unexpected moments and even love in a story full of humor and songs.

In a godforsaken cave, a traveling journeyman fills his pockets with gold. Voita lost his father and mother in the war and is now seeking his fortune in the world. He got to the abyss at Gallows Mountain only by chance - or have mysterious powers led him there in this spooky stormy night? Suddenly, he notices a strange fellow among the treasures. The apparent ghost and custodian of this treasure chases away the young man, who still manages to secretly pocket a small, fateful lighter...

The film contains three Jan Werich's fairy tales, each directed by one artist. The first story sets out to the Sumava mountains in Southern Bohemia to find out whether Ogres ever lived there. The middle tale The Hat and the Little Jay Feather concerns a king who sends his three sons to bring back a hat he left at a tavern when he was young. The third and longest fairy tale Reason and Luck is about the two virtues of the title try to prove their importance by changing the life of a pig herder named Louis. Written by

Два брата и сестра — Цирил, Бруно и Анета — рано остаются без родителей. Они живут в маленьком шахтерском городке, и все заботу о семье берет на себя старший брат. Прошло 25 лет. Цирил стал прокурором, сестра Анета — известная тележурналистка, Бруно живет с надоевшей ему женой и дочкой, связавшейся с панками. Бруно остается несколько месяцев. Eдинственное развлечение, которое отвлекает его от грустных мыслей, это общение в видеочате с красавицей Тали. Старший брат решает сделать Бруно прощальный подарок — поездку в пятизвездочный отель на горнолыжный курорт в Татрах. Бруно, Анета и Цирил, как в старые, добрые времена решают провести неделю вместе. Вот только Бруно не знает, что брат с сестрой подготовили ему еще один сюрприз — вместе с ними в путешествие отправляется та самая красавица Тали из видеочата. Брат-прокурор купил ее на все эти дни, чтобы она скрасила последние дни жизни Бруно.

Шестеро друзей — по большей части, рыбаки и садоводы — каждую субботу встречаются за кружкой пива в маленькой пивнушке на Либенском острове. И вот один из них становится жертвой обманщиков на пражском рынке. Друзьям приходится, как в старом добром вестерне, взять закон в собственные руки: в жарком городе, полном пыли, фальшивомонетчиков, контрабандистов, проституток и продажных полицейских они пытаются вернуть другу обманом отобранные тридцать шесть тысяч крон. У них все получится, благодаря дружбе, отваге, удаче, а главное — потертому тузу…

Misadventures of a hapless young man from rural Bohemia who, in 1991, is finally free to cross newly open borders.

The story, written by former George Stransky former political prisoners and today's chairman Pen Club is situated to 50 years and uranium camp of political prisoners in Pribram, where after the fall of the Stalinist cult comes at the end of 1958 as a prisoner of the former Chief of Main Administration of correctional facilities Colonel Good. Former chief topic of coexistence, "a guard" and political prisoners in the Bolshevik camp served timeless makers to reflect on the possibility (or impossibility) of forgiveness and a sense of justice. The film, unfortunately, below expectations - mainly because of its rarity and lack syžetovou arching dramatic arc of the story, including natural gradation. Nice camera and vice versa are cast, formed literally myriad of top Czech actors. A representative of one of the main roles - Jiri Schmitzer in 1997 was awarded the Czech Lion.

They miss the Epiphany carol (songs and treats door-to-door) and all neighbor village boys again on them in all the neighbor houses. On their way home they are passed by a fast moving big man with a large backpack. The boys send the customs officers, who are pursuing the strange man, to the opposite direction. The man then thanks them and rewards them the next day. Based on fairy-tales and legends the boys think the man is Krakonos (the giant living and ruling in the Giant Mountains).

Далибор Врана - продавец в книжном магазине. Из-за своей любвеобильности он вынужден платить алименты бывшим женам, а оставшихся денег хватает лишь на очень скромную жизнь. А тут как назло, бывшие одноклассники устраивают встречу, где каждый так и норовит похвастаться успехами и достатком. А у пана Враны лишь один приличный костюм, да притом такой, что его то и дело принимают за официанта. И тут ему приходит в голову этим обстоятельством воспользоваться...

A young Czech couple are terrorised by their funny family.

Honza and Zuzana are very young husband and wife. They have a little daughter of whom willingly occasionally take care the grandparents and Honza's fifteen-year-old brother Martin. Zuzana continues studying and Honza devotes all weekends as an amateur competitor to the motor-cycles at the speedway. Zuzana is not interested in motor-cycles. Martin holds responsible for his brother's marriage and at the advice of his friend Magda, who is of the same age, invites her sister-in-law to the club of Hucul horses so that she does not feel bored. But by misfortunes and unexplained quarrels both young husband and wife start being jealous of one another.

Children from the village Bystrá are awaiting a nice and thrilling weekend. On Saturday they will play the championship football match with the nonresident boys from the village Skuhrov, on Sunday there will be the funfair with merry-go-round, swings and stalls with dainties. The members of the family of the merry-go-round man are brother and sister Janek and Zaneta Mareks whom the children have known since the last year. At that time Zaneta made friends with girls and Janek, an excellent football player, has been a welcome support of the football club.

It is the summer holiday and little Mísa Horák has taken a few animals from the school's so-called "Corner of Living Nature" home to care for. But when he brings home two Angora rabbits, a starling, a little monkey, a tortoise and a small crocodile, his parents order him to take them away. He is helped by Káta, who offers to place the animals in the child's room of her family's apartment. Mísa leaves for her friend where the animals will hopefully be able to stay. Káta goes shopping. In the meantime, Káta's younger sister Minka wakes up and begins to play with the animals, who gradually run off in disarray.
