Focuses on a woman and child after the 1988 earthquake that rocked the Soviet state of Armenia. They find themselves listening to telephone wires and call it music. They became close and the little boy decides that he has found the basis for the making of his new family. The woman then adopts him, however, he believes that they family needs a father as well.

An industrial plant pollutes Lake Sevan with discharges. The public demands to close harmful production. The responsible worker, who is in charge of the plant, understands the requirements of environmentalists, but does not dare to conflict with the management.

Действие фильма происходит в годы Великой Отечественной войны в городе Ленинакан. Герои картины — члены самодеятельной театральной труппы, разделившие со всей страной горести и утраты военного времени.

Опечаленный выходом на пенсию и тем, что он останется без дела, крановщик Гарник случайно выигрывает в лотерею автомобиль «Запорожец» - и становится личным шофёром всех близких и дальних родственников...

В основе сюжета светлой, чуть грустной картины — история любви Торика, юноши чистого и наивного, к Анджеле девушке, занимающейся позорным ремеслом древнейшей профессии. Любви, вызвавшей презрение у всего общества небольшого западно-армянского городка. Действие происходит в начале XX века.

Поэтическая кинопритча Сергея Параджанова об армянском поэте Саят-Нова, в которой единой сюжетной линией показан духовный мир Поэта, история его любви, отношение Поэта к религии, светской власти, народу. При отсутствии обычного литературного монолога все решения автора фильма лежат в чисто изобразительной сфере.
