The story of a 30-something bar-hopping player named Pete who is on a quest to bed as many women as possible. However, once he meets Stephanie, a relationship blogger, and the two become romantic. However, when she discovers the extent of his past, she ends the relationship, causing him to go full stalker as he tries to win her back in all the wrong ways.

When his schizophrenic friend, Liza, turns up looking for a place to stay, the two form an increasingly tight bond, Robin helping Liza through an unplanned pregnancy and Liza pushing Robin to develop a successful nightclub act.
In this socially conscious drama, a TV journalist begins investigating a large factory that has been threatening the health of the children who live in the town's poorest, most polluted section. Because of his investigation, he and his family are threatened by company thugs. He gets no help from his TV station as they are loathe to tangle with big business.
