Taghi and Zari run away from their village to get married in Tehran, away from their disapproving parents. However living in a big city is not as easy as it seems.
Mansour is a troubled student at school. His mother, Shirin, is divorced, and his father, Esmal-Agha, is a Lompan. Afsaneh, Mansour's teacher, becomes interested in the boy and asks Esmal to stop doing wrong things and raise his son.
