While working at various events, an unknown MC named Kyung-man and his younger sister, Kyung-mi, are taking care of their father, who has been hospitalized for a long time. When he suddenly dies, there is no time to be sad and Kyung-man faces the tough reality of having no money for his father’s funeral. To cover the funeral expenses, Kyung-man secretly goes to the province to work at a birthday party but is gets caught up in an unexpected disturbance there.

Узнав о смерти бывшей жены и ситуации дочери, Сок-хён решает помочь.

Однажды на берегу реки находят труп местного пьяницы, а потом ещё один - старенький жилец умер во сне. По крайней мере, полиция так считает, но не бывший полицейский детектив, к которому Док-су заходит забрать плату за проживание. Тот уверен, что в их квартале снова объявился серийный убийца, которого не смогли поймать 30 лет назад. Док-су этому не верит, а с утра находит бывшего копа повешенным на дверной ручке. В квартире также обнаруживается его старый напарник, одержимый поимкой маньяка.

The sudden death of her mother brings Myung-eun back home to Jeju island.
