There is a ballad written by Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko called “That Catherine's hut is on the hill...". It is about a rescue of Catherine's lover, whom she saves by posing him as her brother. This story, as a parable, flies throughout Ukraine's history and reconstructs its dramatic and heroic episodes. Every challenge, including the Chernobyl accident, leaves Catherine without her home. But she is stubborn, as many generations of Ukrainians, in rebuilding her house out of pieces. The story is not only about Catherine's redemption, but also about Ukraine's survival throughout the centuries that is reflected in a folk tradition called Toloka.

Few weeks of Taras Shevchenko in Kazakhstan exile, before his discharge out of army, when agents of the secret police were in hot pursuit of him.

В 1947 году в ГУЛАГ попадают двое украинцев. Главный герой - воин УПА Данило Червоный. Другой украинец - Виктор Гуров, советский лётчик из Чернигова, самолет которого был сбит над позициями врага и его считают дезертиром, который был в плену. Гуров считает Сталина героем и верит в то, что военный суд ошибся. Оба героя должны пройти через ад и нечеловеческие условия каторги, преследования уголовных главарей, подлость, предательство и отчаяние. Данило находит в себе силы противостоять репрессиям начальника лагеря и делает отчаянную попытку вырваться на свободу, подняв первое восстание в лагере.

While he was fleeing Ukraine, President Viktor Yanukovych tried to destroy all the evidence of his government's corrupt activities. In order to save the drowned, slashed and burned papers and bring about the punishment of the criminals in power, journalists and volunteers organized the White Collar Unit, which day by day is building up valid proof of the crimes from the tiniest pieces.

Myr - a film about Myroslav Hai, an acting teacher in the famous project So You Think You Can Dance, who, during the very first days of Russia's aggression in eastern Ukraine, created a powerful volunteer foundation, and provides the soldiers of the Anti-Terrorist Operation with food, uniforms, night vision devices, and other military equipment.

The day after the students on the Euromaidan were beaten up, the activists of the Center for Civil Liberties opened a hotline for the victims and the volunteer lawyers, thus providing the protesters with legal services and defenders in court. Today, they monitor war crimes, engage in international advocacy, and struggle for the release of Ukrainian political prisoners in Russia.

Automaidan - civic activities on four wheels. It started as an association of car owners who patrolled the streets, blocked government buildings, and helped the activists on the Maidan.
