На закрытом аукционе продают древнюю шкатулку, внутри которой лежит карта, указывающая путь к сокровищам, но завершить сделку не удается – шкатулку похищает воровка Чэнь Юань (Ракель Сюй). От погони ей удается уйти благодаря помощи невесть откуда взявшегося меченосца по имени Му Фэн (Ли Цзи), который впоследствии присоединяется к ней в поисках сокровищ. Но в этих поисках замешаны еще две стороны – генерал Чжоу Бинхуэй (Чжун Лэй) и евнух Лю (Фэй Лун), каждый из которых ведет свою игру.
The story is set in when Qinghe Nie Sect was dealing with their ancestral knife tomb incident. Nie Mingjue brought Nie Huaisang alone to do good for others by restoring the tomb back to its original state to ensure peace in the Nie sect. Through this, Nie Huaisang went from a playful disciple to maturing into the next generation sect leader and Nie Mingjue learned, understood his brother more and helped him grow.
