Onur is sacked from his job as manager of a pharmaceutical company. He’s not too bothered about being unemployed, but the same cannot be said of his wife Bahar. Onur doesn’t listen to her and becomes indifferent not only to her anxieties but also to the world around him. He’d rather be surrounded by more zebras. A documentary film crew follows İskender, who was proclaimed as the chosen one according to a prophecy by Nostradamus. İskender attemps to break world records as Rolling an orange with his nose, Most eggs crushed with the head, etc. Unfortunately he fails again and again. His failure makes him stopped thinking logically. And he decided to break the world record for longest love making. The question is; is he really the chosen one? Let's assume he is, was he chosen for the world records he's trying to break? Or is he special in some other way?
Nisantasi is a classy Istanbul residential district. Its inhabitants may be rich and beautiful but they are not necessarily happy. This is the case for 52-year-old architect Can and his wife Ela, an artist who is already past her creative prime. Their daughter Nil has left home to study in Ankara. Left to their own devices, the couple realise that their passion for each other is not what it once was. Nonetheless they both feel secure in the safe harbour of a marriage which places no demands for critical questions or complex explanations.
