Дела Рика Джармина, живущего тайной жизнью по специально разработанной ФБР программе защиты свидетелей, складывается не лучшим образом. Дело в том, что пятнадцать лет назад он дал показания против полицейского, промышляющего торговлей наркотиками, что позволило усадить негодяя за решетку. Преступник, отсидевший свой срок, решает отомстить «стукачу» и начинает охоту на Джармина. Случайно Рик сталкивается с Мэриэнн Грэйвз, своей бывшей невестой. Мэриэнн, естественно, узнает его, что облегчает задачу убийцам, следующим за Джармином по пятам. Теперь бывшим возлюбленным вместе предстоит спасаться от злодеев, но именно это помогает им вернуть утраченную любовь.
