Тимофей — талантливый, амбициозный танцор, мечтающий об участии в международном танцевальном конкурсе «Гранд Бале», а так же о работе у великого хореографа Эйфмана. Но это уж совсем недосягаемая мечта: по несправедливости Тимофея отчисляют с последнего курса хореографического училища. Вроде бы его мечта о большой сцене должна рухнуть, но «покорить мир» ему помогают его друзья: номер для конкурса они ставят на двоих с одаренной балериной — его возлюбленной Машей; музыку к номеру пишет талантливый композитор Алексей.. Он болен ДЦП, но двигается и живет совершенно полноценной жизнью. И все бы было хорошо, если бы Алексей не вел расследование о расхищении средств на строительство реабилитационных центров для больных ДЦП…
