События фильма развернутся в Альпах, где расположилась климатическая станция, на которой со своими коллегами работает техник Янек. Накануне приезда туда новой группы ученых, персонал станции сталкивается с необычным явлением - из ледника начинает сочиться странная жидкость, под воздействием которой все животные начинают мутировать и нападать на людей. Станция превращается в своеобразную крепость для выживших, и все бы хорошо, но позже выясняется, что и люди так же подверглись заражению...
