Against the backdrop of an alt-rock music festival, dozens of struggling thirty-somethings deal with a wide variety of social and philosophical issues in their respective lives.
Bobby and Calvin are two 1960s-obsessed males in their twenties. Bobby is introverted and inexperienced. Calvin is his best friend and sex-obsessed. Their story is told in a series of episodes over the course of five years.
