Neusa Suely, a prostitute, is accused by her pimp Vado of stealing his money. To get rid of the accusations, she blames her neighbour, Veludo. The three characters then start to live a small tragedy set in the underground Rio de Janeiro scene.

From the beginning of the film: "This is the story of a new twist on the oldest profession. The film follows a group of Brazilian prostitutes over two years as they work not only the streets of Rio, but those of Paris, Rome and Milan." The twist is that these prostitutes are gay, transexual and transvestite.
