MY WONDERFUL WEST BERLIN recounts the lives and struggles of gay men in West-Berlin. Through present-day scenes and never before seen archival footage, a fascinating picture emerges of a city, that today characterizes itself as a dream destination and place of refuge for gays.

An alien from the planet Antoria lands on Earth and is promptly assaulted by the porn producer Gerhard Hornbacher, who steals his "form changer". So what else can she do but to try to solve the case on her own. Rosa is quickly persuaded and off they go... A first clue is found next to the tracks. It leads Mrs. Hoehne to the salon of the master of hairstyling Horst Brueller where Miss Gisela Drache runs a strict regime. In spite of her age Mrs. Hoehne starts as a trainee and not only diva Veranda Strunzig-Lopez is quickly convinced of her talents, Horst Brueller and his silky lover Bruno as well. A poisoned wig and more bodies indicate that Mrs. Hoehne follows the right lead.

Безжалостная, за гранью фола пародия на полицейские триллеры и фильмы ужасов, вызывающая порой просто истерический смех. В политкорректной Америке середины 90-х вряд ли смогли бы так посмеяться над собой. Много тупого немецкого юмора. Вместе с тем, фильм выдержан в хорошем кичевом ключе от начала до конца. Фильм снят по комиксам Ральфа Кенинга. В отеле, где снимают номера для сексуальных утех, появляется презерватив-убийца, откусывающий причинное место у своих "пользователей". Это дело расследует полицейский-гей Луиджи Макерони. Поначалу ему никто не верит, но когда зубастый монстр лишает мужского достоинства кандидата в президенты, Луиджи дают зеленый свет и он начинает беспощадную, безжалостную охоту. В конце концов храбрый полицейский ловит прародителя - огромный презерватив-убийцу на своего огромного "живца"...
