A birthday party for Max the dog turns into a funeral. As Stephen rearranges the ‘happy birthday’ banners to say, ‘happy funeral’, the clown he had booked arrives. Wanting to be cheered up from the grief for his dog, the clown shows him a special trick that leads Stephen into the next phase of human evolution.
