William MacPhab loses seven-pounds in the stock market and decides to slap the man who was responsible for the stock manipulation that caused him to lose his money. Astor Terbanks, the stock-market manipulator is surprised the next day when he gets soundly slapped by MacPhab, and the latter promises to deliver one more a day for the next six days. Terbank's daughter, Daisy, is amused by the procedure and is attracted to MacPhab.

Aspiring singer Susanne takes over one night for her sick colleague, the slap-stick actor Viktor, at a small cabaret in Berlin where he works as a female impersonator. By chance, Susanne is then "discovered" by an agent, who thinks she′s really a man. She becomes famous and goes on tour to London. But when the local womanizer Robert catches on to her game, Viktor then has to jump in for Susanne as "Viktoria".

Three friends who are broke decide to found a film production company. When they start shooting their first film chaos arises...

The film tells the story of an ambitious young man, Tom, who loves Grete, daughter of the manager of the national railroads; but Grete's father prefers Lund, an upright and uptight army officer. To prove his worth, Tom organizes a daring robbery of the nightly Bergen Express in the hopes of outwitting his rival, who's been assigned to track down the thieves.

When a travelling troupe threatens to unleash a saucy Berlin revue on the provincial town of Emilsburg, the local Morality Society, a band of sanctimonious middle-aged men, stages a protest. Meanwhile, the reigning monarch is concerned that his son and heir is not living his life to the full. Ninon d’Hauteville, a showgirl and the revue’s star attraction, takes a job as piano teacher to the young prince after her engagement at the local theatre was brought to a premature end, a result of the Morality Society’s interference. It doesn’t take long for those hypocrites to get wind of this. While on the outside they appear to be concerned with running the immoral woman out of their town, behind closed doors they rank among the new piano teacher’s most ardent pupils. However, Ninon, out to right the wrong done against her, secretly keeps a “diary” of their visits, recording each encounter on film with a hidden camera.

Весёлая атмосфера новогодней ночи, шумные улицы, празднующая толпа резко контрастируют совсем с другой историей. Её герои - жена, муж и его мать. Маленькая война между невесткой и свекровью приводят к трагической развязке. Ещё один символ - бушующее холодное море успокоится только к финалу... Режиссёр Лупу Пик виртуозно обходится без интертитров, нам остаётся лишь удивляться насколько всё ясно без слов, сколь тонко удаётся передать, что творится в душе персонажей.

When Hedda is about to appear on stage in Ostende she borrows a piece of jewellery from her fiancé, de Rochord. When a gang of thieves steals it, he calls off the engagement, but Hedda solves the crime singlehandedly and the two are reunited.

Miss Lo leaves finishing school and returns to her parents’ hotel “Zum Weißen Schwan”. One of the chambermaids eloped with the bellboy and now the daughter has to help out – sometimes as a maid, sometimes in the guise of a bellboy. When she falls in love with Lieutenant Clairon, her male disguise begins to stand in her way. At a ball she has to to look on helplessly while he’s flirting with other women. But with the help of her friend Röschen, who’s the cousin of Clairon, a happy ending is attained.

A company of soldiers is visiting a small village. The mayor (?) locks away his daughter because she is very adventurous...
