The life of a mute woman.

A woman marries the man of her dreams and bears his child but, as the years pass, they grow more distant from each other. While her husband's career flurishes, he forces her to quit her job which only adds to their marital stress.

She falls for Byuk Kye-su, but he's chosen to be an envoy to a far off kingdom. When he leaves she feels so betrayed she takes to a life of wandering. She meets Lee Saeng, a destitute scholar, and stays with him until she discovers he's going to sell her to a group of itinerate clowns. Instead, she joins them willingly.

After the rape and subsequent suicide of a college student, her mother takes revenge on those responsible.

"Bhiksuni" was the founding work of Taeheung Film Company in 1984. Producer Lee Tae-won decided to produce "Bhiksuni" on an unconventional scale at the time and formed a luxurious lineup with director Im Kwon-taek, filming Jung Il-sung, screenplay Song Gil-han, and starring Kim Ji-mi. The film was stopped due to opposition from the Buddhist community when one-fifth of Song Gil-han's screenplays, which consisted of 170 scenes in total, were filmed. The rush film of "Bhiksuni", which was accidentally found in the warehouse of Taeheung Film Company in 2013, evokes regret that another masterpiece was almost released to be listed in Korean film history. The unfinished version of "Bhiksuni" will remain a valuable indicator in that it suggests not only the appearance of a masterpiece as a frustrated record, but also the aesthetic attitude of condensation and moderation that is difficult to find in current Korean films.

Hye-rim is a model prisoner serving out her sentence for murder. With two years left to go, she gets a special outing. Hye-rim gets on a train to Kang-reung to visit her mother's grave. At the place, she meets Min-gi, a young man running away after being involved in a crime organization. Min-gi's persistence melts the heart that was hardened in jail. Hye-rim and Min-gi fall in love.

A story that follows the lives and interactions of two Buddhist monks living in South Korea.

Eul-hwa discovers that she has a talent for shamanism. She sends her son away to be raised by monks while she delves into shamanistic rituals and spells. Eventually she becomes a powerful shaman. Young-Shik, a playboy, loves Ok-Ju, a business owner's daughter on purpose. One day he is bashed and taken to a mountain villa while he is taking a walk near a hotel. The villa's owner Jin-Ho was a vet doctor but now he leads a life with anatomizing animals after he is injured in his leg. One day a woman who wears wedding veil comes to Young-Shik and asks him to go back to his first love Mi-Ra. As the mysterious woman faces with Ok-Ju, she kills Ok-Ju. On his departure day, Young-Shik goes to Jin-Ho and hears from him the woman in veil is Mi-Ra who is troubled with her burnt scald of face and committed suicide letting him go. He trembles in sufferings.

Полиция уверена, что они пали жертвами грабителя, который сам уже во всём сознался, но вдруг появляется подруга горничной с письмом от покойной. Та просила передать его в полицию в случае собственной смерти, считая, что хозяйка хочет её убить.
