The Deluge Redivivus is a new remastered cut of the original Polish “The Deluge” from 1974 that was released for the film's 40th anniversary in 2014.

The story of male friendship, vitality and the joy of living, even after turning 60 years old. When one of the three friends is taken to hospital, the others are there for him.

Friends of different generations, practicing different professions, spend together their summer holidays at the seaside every year. It is sunny; they look carefree and happy. They know each other very well, they are used to each other. To such an extent, that bore becomes inevitable. It is boredom that incites them to play a dangerous game. The end is dramatic: a young boy gets killed. It is the moment to draw the bottom line. The question is: Isn't the death of the spirit worse than of the body?

On the eve of the German Peasants' Revolt, painter Joerg Ratgeb is occupied by a crisis of his own: finding a model for a Christ figure. He sets off on a journey to consult with his artistic role model, Albrecht Dürer. Although Ratgeb has always tried to stay out of the political conflict, his journey brings him face-to-face with peasant revolutionaries and the brutality and violence of their daily lives.

40-year-old engineer Marek Kołodziejski comes to his hometown after fifteen years. He wants to take revenge on his friends who kicked him out of the band for appropriating the authorship of the project.

Историческая эпопея Генрика Сенкевича, охватывающая события XVII века войны Речи Посполитой со шведами. Сложно складываются отношения главных героев Анджея Кмитица и Оленьки Биллевич. Волею судьбы Кмитиц связан клятвою с отступником Гетманом. Он оказывается в стане врагов и вынужден воевать против своих. Действие этого невероятно нервного и напряженного фильма разворачивается в 1793 году и повествует о предательской борьбе прусского шпиона, по прозвищу Дьявол и молодого польского патриота.

Герой по имени Михал, чудом уцелевший после расправы фашистов над его матерью, женой и сыном, первоначально пытается выйти на контакт с подпольщиками, а затем оказывается одним из подопытных (неких «кормильцев вшей») в странном медицинском центре, занятом изобретением вакцины против тифа. Михал также помогает появиться на свет ребёнку встреченной молодой женщины Хелены и продолжает заботиться о ней, похожей, как две капли воды, на его погибшую жену Марту. А в итоге готов пожертвовать собой, чтобы вызволить из госпиталя принудительно помещённого туда мужа Хелены.

A pastor studying folklore in remote parts of 19th century Lithuania is invited to stay with a young nobleman. His mother is sequestered and mad. It seems she has been attacked by a bear as a young wife and local peasants whisper the young man may be the son of a bear. A doctor, who treats the mother with old-fashioned remedies, reveals this to the pastor. Young nobleman's wife is found with a bite and the man has disappeared into the woods.

Главные герои картины: молодой поэт-интеллектуал Тадеуш и его возлюбленная — Нина.

In this story set in near future, a group of young rebels, hippies and 1968 protesters want to cede and make an independent Island from the Mainland. A journalist who came to the Island to make a report about political summit that takes place there gets involved in the clash between young rebels and establishment.

Влодек, несостоявшийся русист, которого исключили из вуза после пятого семестра, — серый работник большого книжного магазина. Утомлённый домашней атмосферой, где в двух комнатах он живёт с женой, сыном и родителями жены, вечером он выходит из дома. Официальный предлог — купить сигарет, в действительности же убежать от шума телевизора, ворчаний тёщи, рассказов тестя и выговоров жены. Случайно попадает в общежитие «Академка», случайно знакомится с красивой студенткой полонистики Иреной. Увлечение девушкой перерастает в любовь. Но Ирена видит во Влодеке другого человека, того, кого она себе выдумала, талантливого, у которого не было ещё возможности показать себя.

Professionally active, childless, married woman loses her father during a business trip. With an overwhelming sense of transience and the fear of death, she doubts her attachment to her husband. It turns out that in marriage, too, he only plays his part, with greater or lesser conviction.

A 12-year-old boy (Gregorz Zuchowicz) and his father embark on a fishing trip where the boy hopes to get to know his father better. When a young woman leaves her boyfriend after a quarrel, the father invites her along on the trip. The boy's hopes of a father-and-son retreat are shattered when it becomes obvious dad is after more than fish. The girl's boyfriend finally returns for the girl as the son watches the two men face off from his position above on a sand dune. Sadly, the boy goes off by himself to fish while his father is busy with other things in this drama of a boy's realization of the harsh realities of the adult world.

A man who is socially inept and out of touch with the world lives with his sister in a small farmhouse. The overly sensitive man lives off his hard-working sibling, taking odd jobs as he gets them to secure his meager earnings. When he brings home a woodcutter from the forest, the sister and the newcomer fall in love. Terrified over a life without his sister, the man can't cope and decides to kill himself. This depressing tale of alienation, doubt and uncertainty was the Polish entry at the Cannes Film Festival in 1968.
