The film depicts three days in the life of a state farm director, during which he celebrates his 40th birthday. He was adopted by four godfathers who have helped him throughout his life and have reached positions of prominence themselves. He makes a mistake at work turning away some foreigh investors and is required to cover the losses, but even his godfathers are unable to help him. He regains affection of his son instead.

The main character, nicknamed "Teddy Bear" by his friends and acquaintances, is a manager of a sports club in Poland. One day he is detained at the border just as his sport team is off to a tournament. It appears that somebody has torn out a few pages from his passport. It occurs to him that perhaps his ex-wife has done it in order to get her hands on their joint account in a London bank. Therefore, he has to get to London as soon as possible in order to transfer the money to a different bank. The solution is taking part in a movie, made by his friend. The script requires a double role, thus the search for another actor is announced. The double has to apply for the passport, and that is solved through a girlfriend who agrees to play the dope's new fiancée. At the engagement party he is slipped a drug, and Teddy Bear runs off to the airport with the false passport. On the plane, however, he meets his ex-wife...

Tadeusz Krzakoski (Krzysztof Kowalewski), the director of a failing state-owned company, is married with problems. His mistress, the daughter of a Communist party bigwig, says she's pregnant and Tadeusz knows he'll have to marry her to save his reputation and his job. But divorce is never simple and Bareja's screwball comedies are never boring.

The main character is a bookkeeper, 40, who lives a quiet, uninteresting life with her husband and son of school age. She realizes that soon she won't be needed much at home as the boy grows up and the relationship with her husband crumbles. It's only when an embezzlement is discovered at the office and she stands up to her management, that she realizes life has more to offer. She meets a well-off former classmate, married to an American. Then she meets Jacek and starts contemplating possibilities of a new start. She discovers love for the first time, but turns to old ways rather than to break loose.

We can see it from the point of view of a university intellectual, fascinated by German culture, who decides to take active part in the conflict. Professor Gabriel Tomicki spends the last evening before WW2 breaks out quarreling with his university colleague Professor Dog-Lesniewski about the superiority of German over French culture. He finds German culture fascinating and believes neither in war, nor in Nazi barbarity. When the war begins, he tries to enlist and befriends Florentyna, a nightclub dancer and his neighbour. Gabriel falls in love with her, finally manages to become a soldier and even prove his courage. One day, he meets by chance his university adversary Dog-Lesniewski... —kinoholik

The movie is about the fate of Polish soldier named Kaleń who fought with UPA in 1945. Set in the closing days of World War II, the film recounts the adventures of the Polish soldier caught in the turmoil among the Polish Communist army, anti-communist underground and Ukrainian fascists.

Каждый очередной владелец ее погибает, но тем не менее следующий претендент на нее с нетерпением ждет смерти предшественника, чтобы самому иметь возможность быть ее хозяином и «лететь» на ней навстречу немецким танкам.

Скромный кассир Государственного страхового предприятия (PZU) пан Анатоль Ковальский, полностью находящийся под каблуком своей жены, покупает себе новую шляпу и оказывается участником весьма странных событий. После поездок в переполненном автобусе на работу и домой в кармане его плаща постоянно оказываются наручные часы (чаще дамские), браслеты и пр. Анатоль, естественно, обращается в комиссариат МО. Расследование показывает, что, как и следовало ожидать, все дело в шляпе...

На балу у премьер-министра самым популярным гостем был случайно попавший сюда безработный провинциальный актёр Никодем Дымза, которого приняли за крупного бизнесмена. Все позабыли о веселье и музыке и изыскивали любые способы, чтобы познакомиться с ним. Карьера Никодема Дызмы была поистине необыкновенна. В силу случайного стечения обстоятельства он попал в «высший свет» и начал с головокружительной быстротой взбираться по политической лестнице довоенной Польши. Министры, промышленники, богатые авантюристы и другие высокопоставленные особы составляют теперь среду, в которой как свой человек вращается Дызма. Разоблачению этой среды, то есть, так называемого «высшего света», и посвящается комедия польских кинематографистов, снятая на основе популярного романа писателя Тадеуша Доленги-Мостовича.

Фильм-сказка. В основу положена старинная легенда о возникновении Варшавы, о доброй волшебнице Мазовецких лесов Сирене, ставшей покровительницей города.

Судьбы людей разных национальностей в последние часы войны в маленьком немецком городке. Отряд СС, который укрылся в окрестных лесах, чтобы прорваться на запад, вынужден пройти через городок. Доходит до уничтожения заключенных концлагерей, людей, вывезенных на каторжные работы, и американских военнопленных, которые решили сдаться. Кровавую бойню прерывает появление танков Красной Армии.
