Всё потому, что парень ещё в 5 летнем возрасте гулял с одной девочкой, и та рассказала историю о Токийском высшем учебном заведении. По легенде, если парень и девушка туда поступают, то всегда будут вместе, и их брак будет крепким. Хоть прошлое уже 15 лет, Кейтаро помнит об обещании, хотя уже забыл, как выглядит та самая подруга детства. Всё же, он в третий раз подаёт документы в Токийский университет, несмотря на гнев родителей и их слова, что больше не могут его спонсировать. Парень готов сам работать и добиться успехов в поступлении, ради своей мечты.
