Synopsis
Karin moves from Finland to a small village in Sweden and finds that her love of books is viewed with suspicion.

Konoha Inoue and Tōko Amano, the Literary Girl, as she calls herself, are the sole members of their high school literature club. Their lives will be altered when Konoha's past, forgotten for a long time, reaches the present, involving them in a whirlwind of feelings where love, jealousy, revenge, remorse and forgiveness struggle to prevail.
Ruby and her husband Claude are a working-class couple who live in suburban Arkansas. As crazy as they are for each other, their relationship is far from harmonious. One of them has such an impact on her that she asks her acquaintance there to give it one more chance
Miu Asakura lives a sad and troublesome childhood due to her parents' constant fighting. Eventually her father leaves the house and she ends up living with her bitter mother. Miu has been desperately trying to escape the harsh reality that surrounds her to the only safe place she knows: the worlds inside the books she loves. Ostracized by the kids at school due to her imaginative mind that prompts her to frequently lie, she becomes a friend of Konoha Inoue who rather than estranged, ends up fascinated by Asakura's tales.
