4 The People (2004)

The film revolves round a socio-political family where Balagangadhara Menon, the Education Minister lives with his son B.Krishnakumar a.k.a. Unni -a Politician, his wife Lakshmi, three daughters and two son-in-laws.

The movie deals with the repercussions of the murder of Reghu Rama Iyer (Vineeth) in Saudi Arabia. Under the Shariath Law, Akbar (Dileep) is found guilty and is condemned to be beheaded for the crime committed. The judgment is revoked only if the deceased ones wife, Ganga (Kavya Madhavan), forgives the murderer, Akbar. Razia (Meera Jasmin), Akbar's wife, is caught in this agonizing situation.

A tale that narrates the healthy relationship between a father and his son.

Sudhi (Mohanlal) who is a poor auto-rickshaw driver who meets Meenakshi (Rekha) who is the granddaughter of a well to do family. Sudhi and Meenakshi falls in love for each other and faces strong opposition from her family but the lone support of her grand father, Krishna Pillai (Thikkurisi Sukumaran Nair).

James is a hardworking filmmaker in advertising and his girlfriend Alice works in banking. Against their parent's wishes, the two marry and the movie revolves around the misunderstandings between them caused by their busy lifestyles. Things take a turn when James meets with a freak car accident.

Sajan Joseph Alukka is a soft-spoken and studious young man, while his junior Priyamvada is smart and outgoing. Her close friend is in love with Sajan, but he avoids her by saying that his only ambition in life is to study hard and become an IAS. But Priya follows him and digs out the truth that though he hails from a rich family, his father has now gone bankrupt and has no money even to pay the exam fee. On hearing this, her friend ditches him. Slowly Priya starts having a soft corner for him.

Director Lal Jose is all ready with Neela Thamara, a remake of the 1979 hit by the same name, that was scripted by M.T. Vasudevan Nair and directed by Yusaf Ali Kechery. The film has had its shoot at various locations as Pattambi, Malamalkavu, Chamravattam, Kuttippuram and Thavanur.

Sachidanandan (Dileep) runs an antique shop in the Jewish street at Kochi. He is famous for old Gramophone records. Sachi hates music, as he believes that his father has not made any money out of it. Aryadevi, a famous singer, who has been given her first break by Raveendran, comes to Kochi from Bombay with her daughter Pooja (Navya Nair).

Gopan is living with his 6 year old son Ashok. His neighbor Celin falls in love with him. But he reveals that Ashok's mom is alive and he narrates his story.

Aishwarya (Ambika) is a reporter for a newsmagazine looking to investigate the connection between politics and crime in Kerala. She is drawn to the life of Sagar alias Jacky (Mohanlal) who runs a clandestine gold smuggling business for Shekharan (Suresh Gopi), the son of a the state Chief Minister. Jacky is an enigmatic character who stops the smuggling business from growing because of ethical issues with narcotics, and spends his personal time pining for a girlfriend (Urvashi) who is serving time for murder. Ambika publishes a sensational article connecting Jacky to the minister, and pushes the uneasy relationship between Shekharan and Jacky into an open confrontation.

Midhunam movie is all about Sethumadhavan (Mohanlal) who has plans to start a biscuit factory near his house. But the bureaucracy and the corruption of the officials are the hurdles in front of him. Along with that he has to solve the problems in his family, which his brother (Innocent) and brother-in-law (Jagathy Sreekumar) creates. he marries his long-term fiancée Sulochana (Urvashi) who always cribs that he doesn't have love towards her, which he had shown before their marriage. How sethumadhavan succeeds in his life beating all the odds against him forms the rest of the story.

A woman in her fifties files a divorce petition against her seventy-one-year-old husband. Their son and an advocate try to find the reason behind it as they had been married for thirty years.

Lukka Chuppi delves into the lives of a group of married couples, where the husbands are close friends. The story shows the group getting together after 14 years. The wives see a new side to their husbands suddenly, singing and laughing like how they were during their college days.

Kumaran (Thilakan) is a social worker. Captain Vijay (Mohanlal) is an army captain who is on his annual leave and has come to stay with his maternal uncle. In a turn of events Vijay sees Kumaran injured from an accident and crying for help. He takes Kumaran to a hospital but could not save his life. There develops a strong bond between Kumaran and Vijay which pulls him into finding out the accident was a preplanned murder.

A transsexual man's attempt to realize his true orientation in a society that stigmatizes gender transformation. Will Marykutty come out victorious while shredding all the taboos associated with transsexuality?

Ram Menon is a nature lover who runs a resort in the middle of the forest to cater to people who wants to get away from their busy lives. Malini is an urban housewife who's having issues with her husband Elvis. She visits the resort for peace of mind and instantly falls in love with the place and eventually the owner.

The story of "Chandrettan Evideya" revolves around Chandramohan (Dileep), who is a government servant and also an ardent classical dance follower and his wife Sushama(Anusree) is also a government employee. The film narrates how two guys, Sathyanath and Adv. Nandan Menon, who never had anything to do with one another, come into each others lives and what all things happen consequently.
