Recognized as Chile’s best editor, Chignoli received three distinctions at the Pedro Sienna Awards. Her films include No, nominated for an Oscar in 2012, Violeta Went to Heaven (Violeta se fue a los cielos), awarded the Jury Prize at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival, Circumstance, a 2011 Audience Award winner at Sundance, Post Mortem (2010), The Good Life (La Buena vida), which won a Goya Award for Best Spanish Language Foreign Film in 2009, Tony Manero (2008) and her most recent film, The Blind Christ (2016, El cristo ciego). Chignoli has a Master of Fine Arts in Film Studies from Columbia University in New York.
