The political upheaval in North Africa is responsibility of the Western powers —especially of the United States and France— due to the exercise of a foreign policy based on practical and economic interests instead of ethical and theoretical principles, essential for their international politic strategies, which have generated a great instability that causes chaos and violence, as occurs in Western Sahara, the last African colony according to the UN, a region on the brink of war.

A documentary on the life of renowned Brazilian musician Marcelo Yuka, who was shot nine times in the streets of Rio de Janeiro in 2000 and became one of the main voices of social justice and peace in Brazil.

Baionarena is a live album and DVD release in 2009 by Manu Chao and Radio Bemba. It was recorded during summer 2008 in the Arena of Bayonne during the Fêtes de Bayonne, hence the name Baionarena which also happens to mean the one that belongs to Bayonne in Basque.

LT22 Radio La Colifata is a radio station run entirely by the patients of the J.T. Borda Psychiatric Hospital in Buenos Aires. Recorded and broadcast from the hospital gardens, it is heard the world over. It is a station that questions the limit between madness and reason, a station that breaks down the dividing wall between the "sane" and the "mad".

Formed by Manu and Antoine Chao, along with their cousin Santiago Casariego, the French band Mano Negra was formed in 1987, in Paris. The band was immediately spotted in the music scene for its unique style that mixed rock, French chanson, flamenco, ska, salsa, reggae, hip-hop and African rhythms.During the '90s, Mano Negra reached its greatest commercial success both in Europe and in the Spanish-speaking world, where it left an influential mark for contemporary music. The documentary chronicles Mano Negra's entire career through the testimonies of its members, as well as bands sharing their beginnings, such as Los Carayos, Joint de Culasse and Hot Pants.

Caye is a young prostitute whose family is unaware of her profession. She meets her striking Dominican neighbour Zulema, an illegal immigrant, after she finds her in the bathroom, badly beaten up. They strike up a close friendship unbeknownst to Caye's xenophobic co-workers.

Documentary about the so-called "hope camp", which narrates the long protest carried out by the Sintel workers camped in the middle of Castellana Street in Madrid in defence of their labour rights. The documentary follows the evolution of the events during 4 months, from April to August 2001, reflecting the life of these people during their encampment and the negotiations between the government and the trade unions.
