An empty house. A journey through the corners of a space occupied by three generations of women. Through her family history, the author examines the relationships between the steel industry and the women who coexisted with it, as well as the imprint left by industrialization in the domestic sphere. The film is presented as a sort of archaeological investigation of workers' housing, where empty rooms or inert objects are the only elements that make up the image. In this process, the trace of an ideology of domesticity linked to the figure of the Angel of the Home emerges - whose origin dates back to the end of the 19th century - and which collides with the mentality of the new generations. By questioning forms of patriarchal domination as strongly rooted as the family institution or the idea of home, the film opens a space for the depatriarchalization of memory.

In 1992 – 500 years after the beginning of Spain's global empire with the discovery of America – Spain proudly presented itself to the international community as a modern, developed, dynamic country through the Olympic Games in Barcelona and the Expo in Seville. But for filmmaker Luis López Carrasco (1981, Murcia), 1992 was also the year in which the regional parliament building in Cartagena was razed during furious protests against the threatened closure of various local industries. El año del descubrimiento revives this almost forgotten history in a typical Spanish bar in Cartagena, where different generations come together to drink, eat, smoke and talk. Stories from witnesses, demonstrators and strikers from back then and discussions among younger café visitors on themes such as class consciousness, the economic crisis and the role of unions percolate to the surface amidst talk of other life issues.

Dormant for decades, a mothership hovering over post-apocalyptic Ethiopia awakens. Resolved to board the craft, a collector of late 20th century pop memorabilia embarks on a surreal journey to uncover its secrets.

Elena wakes up in a mental hospital room with no memory of anything. They tell him that he suffers from amnesia and that he suffers from paranoid schizophrenia. However, nothing is what it seems, and Elena will have to find a way to escape from there while fighting to keep her sanity and not confuse hallucinations with reality.
