Oliver Scholl
History
Oliver Scholl is a Germany born production designer and artist. An avid reader of science-fiction and non-fiction, Oliver's interest in the merging of art, technology and story began in his teens and continues to inform his work today. At the age of 15, Oliver's first of many illustrations were published in the German science fiction series, Perry Rhodan. He studied industrial design while continuing illustration for advertising and publishing. Early development work for film director Roland Emmerich's Stargate (1994) led to Oliver's transition into the motion picture industry and his relocation to Los Angeles in 1991, where Independence Day (1996) marked Scholl's first american production design credit.

On July 2, a giant alien mothership enters orbit around Earth and deploys several dozen saucer-shaped 'destroyer' spacecraft that quickly lay waste to major cities around the planet. On July 3, the United States conducts a coordinated counterattack that fails. On July 4, a plan is devised to gain access to the interior of the alien mothership in space, in order to plant a nuclear missile.

Year 2038: The mineral resources of the earth are drained, in space there are fights for the last deposits on other planets and satellites. This is the situation when one of the bigger mining corporations has lost all but one mineral moons and many of their fully automatic mining robots are disappearing on their flight home. Since nobody else wants the job, they send prisoners to defend the mining station. Among them undercover agent Stone, who shall clear the whereabouts of the expensive robots. In an atmosphere of corruption, fear and hatred he gets between the fronts of rivaling groups.

After returning to her home-planet Pandora, infamous outlaw, Lilith, is given a dangerous mission and forms an alliance (and potential friendship) with other criminals; including former mercenary Roland, demolitionst Tiny Tina and her protector Krieg, insane scientist Tannis, and the wisecracking robot Claptrap. The mission: find and protect the missing (and important) daughter of a very powerful man named Atlas. Although, things may not be as they seem, as the girl holds the key to great power, one that can change the fate of the entire universe.
