Sinopsis
Beyond the Grace Note examines the hard climb to the podium faced by women conductors today. Leading female conductors open up for the first time about the struggles they faced throughout their careers and how their love of music saved them in this difficult and competitive profession.
La cara oculta explora los límites del amor, los celos y la traición. Adrián (Quim Gutiérrez) el atractivo director de la Orquesta Filarmónica de Bogotá, y su novia Belén (Clara Lago) parecen estar muy enamorados, pero cuando Belén empieza a dudar de su fidelidad, desaparece sin dejar rastro. Afligido, Adrián encuentra consuelo tanto en su música como en los brazos de una hermosa camarera, Fabiana (Martina García), y a medida que la pasión entre ellos crece, las preguntas sobre la misteriosa desaparición de Belén comienzan a aflorar y el pasado de Adrián estará más presente de lo que nunca pudieron imaginar.

Imperfect Harmony is a film about musical control, explored through a clash between two maestros: avant-garde rebel and Holland’s best-known composer, Louis Andriessen, and chief conductor at Amsterdam’s Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Mariss Jansons. Half a century ago Andriessen vowed he would never compose for a symphony orchestra again. But, against all the odds and after much deliberation, he has agreed to do so. The occasion is the Concertgebouw Orchestra’s 125th jubilee year concert and the commission is a present from the Concertgebouw to the orchestra.
Due to the economic recession, the orchestra is shut down. The members hear later that the orchestra will be reformed. Only some of the members, who have not yet been rehired, gather for the orchestra. For the first time since they disbanded the orchestra plays together, but they sound horrible.
