Sinopsis

María es una niña a quien le fascina cocinar y vive con su abuela, doña Tere, en el centro de la Ciudad de México. Doña Tere tiene un restaurante de comida tradicional mexicana llamado El Molcajete. Tras la muerte de su hija, doña Tere abandonó su pasión por la cocina y dejó de trabajar en El Molcajete, que ahora opera bajo la dirección de la chef Rosi. María hace todo lo posible para que su abuela regrese al restaurante. Mientras tanto, la chef Rosi realiza platos siguiendo las nuevas tendencias de la cocina fusión en cual se resalta lo light. Pero María y doña Tere no aceptarán que los tradicionales sabores y los secretos de cocina sean olvidados.
