The Hat (1937)

Año 1936. Indiana Jones es un profesor de arqueología, dispuesto a correr peligrosas aventuras con tal de conseguir valiosas reliquias históricas. Después de una infructuosa misión en Sudamérica, el gobierno estadounidense le encarga la búsqueda del Arca de la Alianza, donde se conservan las Tablas de la Ley que Dios entregó a Moisés. Según la leyenda, quien las posea tendrá un poder absoluto, razón por la cual también la buscan los nazis.

Ted, un guía del museo Bloomsberry, recibe la mala noticia de su cierre por falta de público. La única solución para remediarlo sería traer el altar perdido de la tribu africana Zagawa. Por ello, Ted viaja a África para encontrar la reliquia. Allí conoce al mono Jorge, un animal encantador que se convertirá en su mejor amigo. Cuando regresa se da cuenta que el mono ha decidido acompañarle. Juntos se verán envueltos en varias peripecias en torno al museo.

El carismático político David Norris está a punto de ser elegido senador cuando conoce a la preciosa bailarina Elise Sellas, de la que se enamora. Pronto descubre que hay unas extrañas personas que tratan de impedir su relación.

The earliest surviving celluloid film, and believed second moving picture ever created, was shot by Louis Aimé Augustin Le Prince using the LPCCP Type-1 MkII single-lens camera. It was taken in the garden of Oakwood Grange, the Whitley family house in Roundhay, Leeds, West Riding of Yorkshire (UK), possibly on 14 October 1888. It shows Adolphe Le Prince (Le Prince's son), Mrs. Sarah Whitley (Le Prince's mother-in-law), Joseph Whitley and Miss Harriet Hartley walking around in circles, laughing to themselves and keeping within the area framed by the camera. The Roundhay Garden Scene was recorded at 12 frames per second and runs for 2.11 seconds.
