A despicable teacher uses his prestigious reputation to verbally and sexually abuse his students.

The entire extended family is happily on its way to a nostalgic Christmas at a rented cabin in the mountains. The cabin becomes cramped, however, when mom and dad and four grown-up children with their respective families, a dog and in-laws from Poland squeeze inside the frozen cabin walls in 30-below-zero weather.

The well-ordered life of Dylan Thomas, a high-priced male escort, goes into moral free-fall beginning with the night he impulsively takes home a young woman he finds passed out drunk on a sidewalk. While Dylan plies his trade in swank hotels, a tentative domestic relationship with seemingly homeless Allison evolves, based on the illusion that neither of them has a past. Voyeurism is the dramatic strategy and the lure for this story.

El ambiente latino de las clases, favorecido por la presencia de la italiana Giulia, empieza a producir sus efectos, y los enredos pasionales se suceden.

Un grupo de amigos se reune con la intención de liberarse de las ataduras morales que la sociedad imprime sobre los individuos. Para ello, se hacen pasar por retardados mentales. El grupo se dedica a enfrentar a la sociedad con sus idioteces.

The emphasis on purity forces the filmmakers to focus on the actual story and on the actors' performances. Given these restrictions the story and the action of DIAS DE BODA ('WEDDING DAYS') seem much more immediate and the lapses in fluidity of the story can be forgiven - to a point.

Following college, Karen relocates to Security, Colorado, to be close to boyfriend Paul. With an apartment and a job in a record store, her life is in order, so she then embarks on her dream of becoming a writer. However, her job is unfulfilling, and when she spots a theft in the store, she doesn't report the shoplifter but instead attempts to befriend her. Unable to relate to life around her, Karen has a growing dissatisfaction with her existence, and an unusual psychological portrait emerges as she attempts to deal with everyday realities and finding security in Security.

William is constantly shooting video journals of his life to have as souvenirs for himself. Feeling the end of his relationship with Médéric, his young lover, William spends two days camping with him, taking advantage of the situation by filming the trip and their time spent with another young gay couple. The camera never stops shooting, even when Médéric decides to get it on with another guy in a tent. As Canada's first Dogme95 film, the story is shot on location, with natural lighting and live sound, the camera is hand-held and all superficial elements are forbidden. Yet somehow, in spite of these harsh restrictions during the filmmaking process, the result is warm and beautiful.

Chetzemoka's Curse is about a young, twenty-something woman, Maya (Maya Berthoud), who is haunted by the memory of her first love and her subsequent betrayal. She still feels the pain, works to exorcise it as she wiles away her life as a maid in a small town hotel. But her road to health seems to include passing the bad karma along. She encourages an older married man to run off with her and betray his wife and kids. Betrayal is in the air. Even an itinerant street musician sings about his infidelity. Bottom line, he says, is that he betrayed himself.
