Sinopsis

Patrizio Etxebese sufre unos problemas de salud que le obligan, muy a su pesar, a dejar la alcadía. Decidido a mantener el poder "en casa" y seguir teniendo el mandato del ayuntamiento, el patriarca de la famila nombra a su mujer, María Luisa, la primera alcaldesa del pueblo. Consciente de la importancia de esto, María Luisa se toma muy en serio su trabajo, quizá demasiado. La mujer cambiará de arriba a abajo el funcionamiento del ayuntamiento, poniendo en peligro la paciencia de Patrizio y la relación entre ambos.
