Dos perspectivas diferentes de los Estados Unidos: la de un veterano de Vietnam y la de una joven. El soldado, herido en la guerra a los 18 años, está obsesionado con proteger la "tierra de la libertad", y los atentados del 11 de Septiembre de 2001 remueven en él los fantasmas del pasado; es un hombre sin amigos y sin vínculos familiares. Por su parte, Lana es una joven idealista que ha vivido en África y Europa los últimos diez años.

Or ("luz" en hebreo) es una joven de diecisiete años que vive con su madre Ruthie en Tel Aviv. Esta última es prostituta, pero no parece tener interés en cambiar de vida ni en asumir la más mínima responsabilidad, por lo que, para sobrevivir, Or debe emplearse en una serie de trabajos de poca monta, recolectar botellas vacías, y asistir esporádicamente a la preparatoria...

En 1984, miles de africanos procedentes de 26 países afectados por el hambre terminan en campamentos en Sudán. En una iniciativa de Israel y los Estados Unidos, se realiza una misión para llevar a miles de Judios de Etiopía a Israel. Una madre cristiana obliga a su hijo de nueve años a declararse un Judio para salvarle de la hambruna y la muerte. El niño llega a la Tierra Santa, dice que es huérfano, y es adoptado por una familia francesa sefardí de Tel Aviv, aunque crece con el temor de que se descubra su doble secreto: ni es Judio ni es huérfano, sólo es negro. Descubrirá el amor, la cultura occidental, el judaísmo, pero también el racismo y la guerra en los territorios ocupados.

Meduzot (the Hebrew word for Jellyfish) tells the story of three very different Israeli women living in Tel Aviv whose intersecting stories weave an unlikely portrait of modern Israeli life. Batya, a catering waitress, takes in a young child apparently abandoned at a local beach. Batya is one of the servers at the wedding reception of Keren, a young bride who breaks her leg in trying to escape from a locked toilet stall, which ruins her chance at a romantic honeymoon in the Caribbean. One of the guests is Joy, a Philippine chore woman attending the event with her employer, and who doesn't speak any Hebrew (she communicates mainly in English), and who is guilt-ridden after having left her young son behind in the Philippines.

Through a mosaic of stories intertwined and created a current picture of the sad social and economic situation in Israel. El barrio de Ajami en Jaffa es un crisol de culturas y diferentes puntos de vista entre judíos, musulmanes y cristianos. Echando la vista atrás y a través de diferentes personajes somos testigos de lo insostenible que se está convirtiendo esta situación: Nasri, un chico de 13 años que vive atemorizado; Malek, un refugiado palestino que trabaja en Israel ilegalmente; Binj, un palestino rico que sueña con un futuro brillante junto a su novia judía, y Dando, un policía judío obsesionado con encontrar a su hermano desaparecido. A group of friends in a Tel Aviv suburb get together to watch Universong, a Eurovision-like television song contest. They gather to watch and are depressed by the lifelessness of the Israeli entry, a parody of many recent offerings, a flashy, grating song about "amour." Realizing that Anat is distraught over the crisis in her marriage, they decide to compose a song to cheer her up. As a lark, they enters their cellphone video of it in next year's contest, and it becomes Israel's entry.

En un apartamento en el tercer piso de un edificio estilo Bauhaus de Tel Aviv era donde vivían los abuelos del cineasta Arnon Goldfinger desde que emigraron a Palestina en 1930 huyendo de la Alemania nazi. Cuando la abuela falleció a los 98 años, la familia acudió a limpiar lo que quedaba en el apartamento; objetos, fotografías, cartas y documentos que no esperaban y que revelaban las huellas de un pasado turbulento y desconocido.La película, que comienza con el vaciado de un piso se convierte en una aventura fascinante, en la que entran en juego inesperados intereses nacionales, una amistad que cruza las líneas enemigas, y las emociones de la familia profundamente reprimidas. The film takes place in Tel Aviv, much of it in a fictitious local pub called Barbie, a satirical nickname for a famous Israeli mental health institution. The pub's name hints at the characters and the events which occur in the pub and which befall its owner (Daliah), the employees and customers. The plot unfolds with a streak of violence which takes a surprising turn.

Una serie de brutales asesinatos provocan la inestabilidad en un pueblo alejado de la metrópoli. Estos duros acontecimientos provocarán que la vida de tres hombres quede entrelazada entre sí para siempre. El padre de la primera víctima cuya sed de venganza es insostenible viendo la ineficacia policial a la hora de resolver el caso, un detective de policía que a la hora de resolver un conflicto decide actuar en el margen de la ley y un profesor de religión, máximo sospechoso de los asesinatos debido a su relación directa con las víctimas, es detenido aunque al final es liberado debido a una negligencia policial.

Michael Anderson es un periodista de Los Ángeles Post que llega a Israel para cubrir un reportaje acerca de un ataque a una base americana en el que mueren ocho marines. El grupo responsable obedece al nombre de Octubre Negro y parece que sólo ha afectado a la puerta principal. Sin embargo Michael cree que la versión oficial no tiene demasiado sentido y averigua que en el asalto los terroristas han llegado hasta el polvorín y que se han llevado una cápsula de vital importancia. The only zoo that might provide this animal is located in Tel Aviv ...
