Sinopsis
Monday morning. Paul Wertret, 50, heads off to his job as a manager at the International Credit and Trade Bank. He arrives at 8 o'clock on the dot, as usual. He enters a meeting room, takes out a gun and kills two of his bosses. Then he locks himself in his office. As he waits for the inevitable police assault, this ordinary man looks back over his life and the events that led him to commit such an act.
Jean-Claude (Jean-Luc Couchard) es un "Dikkenek" (expresion belga usada para designar una persona presumida, habladora y soberbia), un tipo que no puede evitar sermonear a todos los que se le cruzan en su camino. Stef (Dominique Pinon), a pesar de ser su amigo desde siempre, es su total opuesto, reservado y tímido. Claudy Faucan (Francois Damiens) es director de un matadero en Bélgica, y amante de la fotografía. Nadine (Marion Cotillard) es una profesora un poco loca, de familia burgesa que está más interesada por “la blanca” que por sus alumnos. Fabianne (Marie Kremer) es una oficial de policía, más fascinada por las armas que por la gramática.
Willy Beachum es un joven y ambicioso fiscal cuya carrera está empezando a despegar. Por otra parte, Ted Crawford es un ingeniero de mediana edad que acaba de disparar a su mujer a sangre fría. El destino querrá que ambos hombres se encuentren cara a cara en un camino de destino inescrutable. Crawford resulta ser tan complejo e impredecible como el crimen que ha cometido y, así, mientras el caso perfecto de Willy comienza a desmoronarse, el futuro del joven fiscal parece destruirse con él.
Dos chicas jóvenes, Mei y Satsuki, se mudan a una nueva casa cerca del hospital en el que se encuentra su madre. This film, shot by 100 amateur camera operators, tells the story of the enormous street protests in Seattle, Washington in November 1999, against the World Trade Organization summit being held there. Vowing to oppose, among other faults, the WTO's power to arbitrally overrule nations' environmental, social and labour policies in favour of unbridled corporate greed, protestors from all around came out in force to make their views known and stop the summit. Against them is a brutal police force and a hostile media as well as the stain of a minority of destructively overzealous comrades. Against all odds, the protesters bravely faced fierce opposition to take back the rightful democratic power that the political and corporate elite of the world is determined to deny the little people.

Parisian authorities clash with the Front de Libération Nationale (FLN) in director Alain Tasma’s recounting of one of the darkest moments of the Algerian War of Independence. As the war wound to a close and violence persisted in the streets of Paris, the FLN and its supporters adopted the tactic of murdering French policemen in hopes of forcing a withdrawal. When French law enforcement retaliated by brutalizing Algerians and imposing a strict curfew, the FLN organizes a peaceful demonstration that drew over 11,000 supporters, resulting in an order from the Paris police chief to take brutal countermeasures. Told through the eyes of both French policemen as well as Algerian protestors, Tasma’s film attempts to get to the root of the tragedy by presenting both sides of the story.
Kamel, a young man from the french ghetto, near Paris, is coming back to France. He was arrested for dealing drugs, he spent five years in jail and was banned from France for two years. He tries, with his family's support, to find a job and live a normal life. But nothing's normal in the ghetto.
