Sinopsis
De la mente del director Tim Burton ('Alicia en el país de las maravillas', 'La leyenda de Sleepy Hollow'), surge 'Frankenweenie', la tierna historia de un chico y su mascota. Cuando el pequeño perro Sparky fallece, Víctor (su amo y amigo) trata de usar diversas técnicas científicas para intentar revivir al animal, y traerlo de vuelta al mundo de los vivos, todo ello mediante algunos ajustes corporales. Aunque el chico intenta que nadie vea a su "monstruo", el perro Sparky consigue escapar, los amigos del colegio del niño, sus profesores e incluso todos sus vecinos sabrán que construir una nueva vida puede llegar a ser algo terrible y escalofriante.
"Pink Dolls" es un grupo de chicas que es siempre relegado a segundo plano por otros ídolos populares. Cuando las chicas liberan su nueva canción "White" - una nueva versión de orígenes desconocidos se convierten en sensaciones instantáneas. Los cuatro miembros de "PinkDolls" incluyen a Eun Joo una ex bailarína de breakdance, Jenny una insegura cantante con golpes de notas altas, Ah Rang, una cantante adicta a la cirugía plástica, y Shin Ji que no puede cantar, pero es buena en rap. Tori performs compositions from her three albums, including "Silent All These Years", which appeared on her 1992 debut album "Little Earthquakes" and is the touchstone track for the "Unlock the Silence" campaign.
The Human League Live at the Dome is a DVD by the veteran British Synthpop group The Human League, containing a recording of a complete concert. It was commissioned by the band themselves due to the success of the Virgin Records commissioned The Very Best of the Human League (DVD) the previous year; and the high uptake for their live concerts. Secuela de V/H/S (2012). Buscando a un estudiante desaparecido, dos investigadores privados irrumpen en su casa y encuentran una colección de cintas VHS. Cuando ven los horribles contenidos cada casete, se dan cuenta que puede haber motivos oscuros detrás de la desaparición del estudiante.
Uno de mis más preciados elementos patrimoniales -al menos en términos de valor sentimental- es un VHS original de “La Señora Doubtfire”. Sí, puede que debiera visitar a un psicoanalista, o tomarme unas prolongadas vacaciones. Pero el caso es que si hacemos caso al proverbio “mal de muchos, consuelo de tontos”, el tonto que les habla ha encontrado en “Rewind This!”, un redentor oasis documental. Con constantes referencias visuales al VHS, “Rewind This!” es un exhaustivo, instructivo, nostálgico y divertido repaso a la historia del vídeo. Y a la influencia que éste tuvo sobre el proceso productivo cinematográfico. Lástima que su ritmo narrativo -demasiado vivaz-, dificulte la absorción de buena parte de la información transmitida.

Las instrucciones decían que el video sería de fácil reconocimiento, pero cuando llegan a la casa encuentran una enorme biblioteca llena de VHS. Su tarea será entonces descubrir cuál es la cinta maldita.

EIT! asks but two simple questions, “What if we make a movie composed ENTIRELY out of dog-related found footage?” and ‘'What if this magickal movie, made up of thousands of other dog movies, is also a remake of Alejandro Jodorowsky’s 1973 masterpiece The Holy Mountain?” Well, let’s stop asking dumb rhetorical questions because this never-ending spiral of World-Pup winning, sunglasses-wearing, murder-solving, skateboarding pooches is real! No Bonez about it, this is it! Are you dog enough to go fetch it? ARFFFFFF!
Liive action debut of CHRZU, the Finnish multi-talent behind a number of award-winning animated shorts (Curse of the Remote Island). Starring the members of the laser metal trio Nightsatan and set in the year 2034, the film is a nod to the 1980s exploitation and scifi movie aesthetics – especially the classics of the Italian post apocalypse genre – with a hint of influences from Sergio Leone and Alejandro Jodorowsky. The soundtrack features material from the next studio album of Nightsatan, due out in 2014.
