Within the Golden Hour, de Christopher Wheeldon, se basa en siete parejas que se separan y entremezclan, con música de Vivaldi y Bosso, y se encuentra iluminado por ricos colores sugeridos por el anochecer. Flight Pattern, de Crystal Pite, que se repone por primera vez, utiliza una gran danza de conjunto y se vale de la familiar música de Górecki tomada de su Sinfonía de las Canciones Quejumbrosas para realizar una intensa y apasionada reflexión sobre la migración. September 2015 marks the 300th anniversary of the death of King Louis XIV of France and this documentary looks at how Louis XIV not only had a personal passion and talent for dance, but supported and promoted key innovations, like the invention of dance notation and the founding of the world's first ballet school, that would lay the foundations for classical ballet to develop.

Georgian mezzo-soprano Anita Rachvelishvili gives a dynamic performance as Bizet’s iconic gypsy, the woman who lives by her own rules. Aleksandrs Antonenko is Don José, the soldier who falls under her spell, and Ildar Abdrazakov plays Escamillo, the swaggering bullfighter who takes Carmen away from Don José—an action that seals Carmen’s tragic fate. Anita Hartig is Micaëla, and Pablo Heras-Casado conducts Richard Eyre’s hit production, set in 1930s Spain.
