After committing a crime for which he is likely to be jailed, a Yolngu teenager convinces two of his childhood friends to join him on a journey from North East Arnhem Land to Darwin to seek help from a tribal leader.

For the first time in 15 years, all four siblings in a family show up to care for their dying mother, who is only given a couple of weeks to live. One comes from America with her two children. A divorced sister also comes with her child and sneaks off regularly to meet a mystery man who may be her ex-husband. The third & youngest daughter is an unmarried nurse aware of her ticking biological clock. The only son chases after his grumpy father who seems to not care a whit about his wife's circumstances. The four are also faced my their mother's dreams to accomplish a few things before she dies - to visit a beach she had visited in the past, to see her youngest married, and to visit Paris. She also wants to be embalmed and be honored with a 21 gun salute. Thus the whole group has to set off in the quest to fulfill their mother's wishes.

Set Decoration
Nueva York, años veinte. Educado en un ambiente poco propicio, sometido a la disciplina de un progenitor sin escrúpulos, dispuesto a emplear la violencia para hacerse valer, Vincent Coll no parece haber encontrado otro camino que el de delinquir y formar su propia pandilla del barrio antes de cumplir la mayoría de edad.

Una especie de cuento gótico que narra la historia de un niño de siete años que huye después de matar a su violento padre. Rodada en blanco y negro como una parodia de las películas de ciencia-ficción de serie B de los años 50.

Josh (Robert Burke) es un ex presidiario que, tras salir de la cárcel con las mejores intenciones, regresa a su hogar natal en Lindenhurst, Long Island. Allí es contratado como mecánico por Vic Hugo (Christopher Cooke), el dueño de un garaje, y se enamora de su hija Audry (Adrienne Shelly)... Película que supuso el debut de uno de los más admirados directores del cine independiente de los noventa. Rodada con poquísimo presupueto y apenas 11 días de rodaje.
