Cuando acompañado de una periodista entrometida comienza a hacer preguntas a la empresa que suministra la electrónica a la compañía de ascensores, su jefe le da un permiso para no ir a trabajar. Una visita posterior a un profesor les lleva a creer que se están llevando a cabo unos malvados experimentos con microchips.
