El pokémon Shaymin se encuentra por accidente en medio de la batalla entre dos pokémoN muy poderosos, Dialga y Giratina, y sin comerlo ni beberlo termina metido en un misterioso universo paralelo. Un gas venenoso se expande por todos lados, y Shaymin hace su ataque Seed Flare para limpiar el gas, lo que por suerte para él le hace volver al mundo real. Ash y sus amigos se encuentran a Shaymin y rápidamente se hacen amigos, sobre todo al descubrir que tienen en común su interés por la naturaleza. Sin embargo Shaymon no va a estar tranquilo, por que Giratina quiere venganza. La aparición de un temible villano y del pokémon legendario Regigigas terminan por redondear una aventura llena de misterios... After terminally ill Bussan finally passes away he misses hanging out with his still living friends and decides to return to Kisarazu. In his ghost form however only his most trusted friends can see him, and his meddling in the lives of the living results in the return of Ozzy and a long dead team of American baseball players who drowned off the shores of Kisarazu. It's down to Bussan and the Cats to save the day and restore the town to order, but can Bussan bring himself to say bye-bye once and for all?
