In the spring of 1945 the war is still going on, but in Bulgaria the communists have already seized the power. The new rulers do justice according to their personal interests. This is the beginning of the era of Communism in Bulgaria - spiritual poverty, expropriation, destroying of the intelligentsia. In this chaos the main character, an actress fallen on hard times, wants to preserve her social status with every available means. She claims to be a Communist activist and, in order to gain access to the theater even shows a photo with the Bulgarian communist revolutionary Georgi Dimitrov's dog However, in order to survive, she has to resort to betrayal.

Night time Sofia in the middle of the 80s. Bus 108 is doing its final route towards the Lyulin neighbourhood. A short altrecation between the passengers finishes with the death of one of them. While investigating the cruel crime the detectives from the militia face people's indifference.

Sylvia es hija de un profesor. Sólo por ello sus profesores y compañeros de clase piensan que se trata de una alumna brillante. Cuando la joven está a punto de recibir una baja calificación en matemáticas debido a sus numerosas ausencias, ella misma hace una corrección en las listas de asistencia de los alumnos a clase, por la cual dos compañeros (que han perdido clases con la suficiente frecuencia) cargarán con sus faltas. Las consecuencias de este pequeño ajuste van a causar más dolor del que ella pueda suponer.
