Madeleine
Paul es un joven huérfano que se encuentra perdido en el Paris de 1930. Gracias a Celestine, esposa del guardabosques y camarera del conde de La Fresnaye, descubrirá un nuevo mundo y tendrá una especie de hogar. Comenzará una nueva vida para Paul, que por el camino descubrirá al cazador furtivo Totoche, un misterioso y solitario hombre que le mostrará los pequeños detalles de la vida y sobre todo los del bosque.

She rises from an impoverished background to become a favourite of the Sun King, Louis XIV, and the mistress of the celebrated Racine, who wrote roles especially for her; but her fate, in the end, is a tragic one.
