Marina Lameiro Garayoa (Iruñea / Pamplona, 1986) is a Basque filmmaker.
Producer
On October 4th, 2007 Arantza, the director of the film, was detained and taken to prison. She remembers a few things about those days: endlessly walking around the prison exercise yard, swimming competitions, Rasha's prison journey... After 918 nights locked up, Arantza is set free. From then onwards, she recorded her memories and doubts, which are heard throughout the documentary as a kind of fragmented memoir.

Un retrato íntimo de la vejez a través de las historias de dos mujeres octogenarias, las abuelas de la cineasta, a quienes seguimos en sus rutinas diarias y ritos cotidianos. Mientras la cámara da cuenta de los gestos y la materialidad de los cuerpos que envejecen, la voz de la cineasta tras la cámara las interpela sobre sus vidas, el paso del tiempo, y la muerte, cuya proximidad impregna la película. El fuego, el mar y la tierra son los elementos que acogen los miedos, los deseos, la memoria y el duelo de las protagonistas.
