It is the summer of 1945. A party of young people are enjoying the beginning of a new life to the full. For them this is the year one. One of them, law student Pavel, is more attracted to film than to law. With his eight-millimeter camera, he films everything that catches his attention. One day he captures an interesting face on film, a girl with an air of mystery. Pavel visits the girl, whose name is Helena, and meets hers and her elder energetic sister Olga. From Olga, he learns that the girls have spent the years of German occupation in a concentration camp and cannot forget the horrors they have lived through.

It is the 1920's. The good-looking hostess Věra demonstrates household robots to visitors of the Futurum exhibition. Young inventor Petr comes to her rescue when she tries to flee from two men wanting to take her away. Věra confesses that she has fled from home because her father, a factory owner, wanted to profitably marry her off. Petr is fascinated by the emancipated woman and shows her round his laboratory, where he plans to create a robot of his own - but one that would be far more advanced. Věra cuts herself on a broken test-tube and a drop of her blood gets in the solution. In the morning, they are taken aback to see Věra's double. This lucky chance has helped Petr create an artificial being, Miss Golem. She has a single motive for her actions: to take care of Věra and allow her to do only what is good for her.

In the thick woods at the edge of the Bohemian Forest, two border guards are keeping watch - rifleman Kucera (Rudolf Jelínek) and dog handler Stencl (Josef Hajducík), whose sluggishness and clumsiness have won him the nickname Simpleton. The official army dog, the bitch Líza, picks up the scent of an alien dog on the German side - Black Wolf. She bites through her leash and runs away. Soon afterwards, the border boundary was interrupted. The two soldiers are wounded in the gunfire that follows, but Stencl's shot also hits the target and the intruder - an attractive woman in a black jersey - is dead. The investigation reveals that this agent knew someone among the local residents. The locals are all called in to identify the body but nobody admits to knowing the woman.

Sátira política y social checoslovaca surrealista que utiliza como trasfondo el viaje de Lemuel Gulliver a los países de Balnibari y Laputa, con una atmósfera que es en parte Kafka y en parte Carroll. Lemuel Gulliver (Lubomír Kostelka) ha tenido un accidente automovilístico y continúa su viaje a pie por el campo desconocido. En el camino encuentra un conejo muerto vestido de hombre y saca un reloj del bolsillo del pecho de su chaleco. La casa medio en ruinas en la que entra le recuerda a Lemuel su infancia y le trae un recuerdo doloroso de una niña muy querida, Markéta, que se ahogó hace años. Gulliver se encuentra en Balnibarbi, un país donde no entiende las leyes y los hábitos y por lo tanto continuamente ofende la decencia pública. Es un día en el que se ordena a las personas que mantengan la boca cerrada y obligan a su visitante a hacer lo mismo. Se enfrenta a un duro interrogatorio y le resulta difícil explicar que él no es el conejo Oscar cuyo reloj se ha encontrado en su poder.

El título "Todos mis buenos compatriotas" no está exento de ironía, ya que esta historia épica de la vida de un pueblo checo, poco después del final de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, se concentra en las actividades de un grupo de amigos a los que no se les puede reprochar ponerse del lado de un político corrupto régimen para el avance material. ¿Son estos los "buenos compatriotas" del título o se refiere al resto de la aldea que desprecian a esta pequeña figura de autoridad con desprecio silencioso?

Tras la III Guerra Mundial, la raza humana es devastada de la faz de la Tierra. Nueve mujeres cruzan la abrasada campiña en busca de comida y de otros supervivientes, especialmente hombres, con los cuales preservar la especie. In 1965, the experienced director Jaroslav Mach made a documentary film with staged scenes, which dealt with the current problems of popular Czech sport. Behind the scenes of football, the playmakers looked through slavoje's team, which is preparing for the decisive match. If Coach Ram doesn't force his boys to perform convincingly, they're in danger of relegation to league two. After a series of dramatic peripeteias, Slavoj takes the field so weakened that he is caught up in the dreaded failure. Fortunately, the club's fans will eventually take their anger out on the loss of "their" team to an innocent referee. The film also features criticism of officials... In addition to actors Martin Růžek and Bohumil Šmída, Machov's film appeared real footballers Dukla and period sports stars (e.g. František Plánička).
