Sjökvist is robbed and bike down with his delivery-bicycle in water at a beach. The robbers then repents and wants to return the money. Yrhage receives his manuscripts from an 11 year-old whose inspiration comes from the mysterious events at a boarding house where several of the characters stay.

Nisse and Klabbarparn instead ends up at the Nordic Museum, where Åsa-Nisse turns out to have unexpected qualities in the art of imitating a mannequin. After that they had found each other is Doris robbed and it leads to a wild brawl that it sparkles and sputters on.

At a summer-evening dance a young girl meets a man who tells her he is a doctor. They go off together, and after that she never sees him again. She learns that she is pregnant and inquires about him at various hospitals, with no success. She reads of his engagement and becomes acquainted with another girl with a situation like her own.

A poor woman in a Swedish farming community struggles to feed her large family and is torn by her passion for two different men.
At a parish meeting Åsa-Nisse suggests that they should hire a common home help, who could give their wives some relief by staying one week at each household. The meeting assents and decides that the order of her rotation should be established by lot. The two bachelors of the village claim their right to the home help as well, arguing that they are also taxpayers. When Elsa Haglund arrives from Gothenburg she starts her first week of work at one of the two bachelors, the village shop-keeper Sjökvist. He is immediately infatuated by her and begins a flirtation. At the end of the week Elsa happens to meet the other bachelor, Eric Broo, called "the singing farmer". She falls in love with him, but doesn't know how to hook him, as he is very shy and unskilled in courting women. In the meantime Åsa-Nisse, the village rogue, carries out some of his pranks.

Annie has written a book about the woman's slavery in marriage and begins to process Signe with her ideas that soon makes Signe see her marriage in a whole new light.

Karin Daughter of Ingmar is a 1920 Swedish silent drama film directed by Victor Sjöström. It is the second part in Sjöström's large-scale adaption of Selma Lagerlöf's novel Jerusalem, following Sons of Ingmar from the year before, and depicting chapter three and four from the novel. The critical reception was however unenthusiastic and Sjöström decided to not direct any more parts.

Morals are part of the conversations and prove to be complicated issues even for strict and serious Nordics. 28 minutes of runtime are missing and presumed lost.
